Kids’ Group

group1Kids’ Group is an interactive, activities-based program for school-age children which addresses skill building in the following areas:

•Family Changes (divorce, separation, deployment, death, etc.)
•Identifying and expressing feelings appropriately
•Substance abuse prevention
•Body safety
•Coping strategies


This group focuses on the development of self esteem and decision making skills. Children have the opportunity to meet with others who are experiencing similar situations and discuss their feelings in a fun environment. They are placed into groups with a skilled professional according to age and social/emotional development.

These services are generously supported through funding from the York County Office of Children, Youth and Families, and are offered free of charge to the families and children who are residents of York County.

Pre-registration is required for Kids’ Group.
